The reason for posting these links is that there is currently nothing written in the documentation on how to deploy a GWT app in a simple web server like Tomcat. There are lots of other posts in the forums about this topic but those were either unresolved or resolved but the explanations are hard to understand especially if you are new to the technology. The above links direct you to discussions that have simple, step-by-step solutions to follow. Just be sure to check and try them all out.
